U.S. Supreme Court Upholds Federal Abortion Ban
There is no question that the April 18 Supreme Court decision in Gonzales v. Planned Parenthood is a serious setback for women’s health. In its ruling, the court turned its back on more than 30 years of Supreme Court decisions that have protected women's health from dangerous abortion restrictions. Led by Bush appointees John Roberts and Samuel Alito, this decision tells women that politicians, and not doctors, will make health care decisions for them.Planned Parenthood's top priority is the health and safety of our patients. We are working diligently to ensure that women are provided with the best and safest possible care under this law, but we need your help.
